Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance, Shanghai
This position is focused on equipment mechanical maintenance work and technical support. The mechanical engineer will be responsible for equipment availability improvement, mechanical technical management, equipment optimization project, MI development, and ensuring equipment works properly in good condition.
About the job:
- Provide equipment maintenance service and technical support and lead equipment troubleshooting work
- Establish and maintain a mechanical-related PM plan, work as the PM instructor for technicians, carry out a regular inspection for PM implementation, and optimize the PM plan according to actual requirement
- Lead the spare parts review plan to keep the spare part stock on a proper level to avoid the unscheduled downtime caused by spare parts shortage
- Equipment technical improvement or optimization according to production or process requirement
- Create and update equipment related procedures
- Facilitate site maintenance process optimization and MOC & PSSR management
The ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- More than 3 years of mechanical maintenance and design experience in the industry (preferred in chemical)
- Be aware of hydraulic and pneumatic system
- Familiar with engineering tools, AutoCAD, process calculation applications
- Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities, strong learning abilities, good communication skills, initiative, and teamwork spirits
- Fluent in reading and written English and Mandarin
- Living in Jin Shan, Feng Xian is preferred.
